Greener Earth With Trash Stainless Steel Kitchenware

With little creativity and effort you can always convert any waste material of anything to a beautiful decorative piece. Stainless steel kitchenware is know for its durability however, at a point of time it could wear off and no more can be in use. But stainless steel do not decay, so what can be done with those trash kitchenware ? Sell it to scrap dealer or just dump it in the store room, this is what we usually do. There is better idea to reuse these trashes for a better purpose rather than dumping. You can reuse the trash utensils to make decorative pieces. Find below few items made from un-used utensils and also find the tips on how to make these items.


Bird Feeder Cum Flower Pot:
The large beer or wine bucket can be used for making multipurpose bird feeder. Make few small holes beneath the bucket, from inside cover the hole with a thick pure cotton fabric, pour enough soil inside the bucket to plant flowers. All season flowers or green decorative plants are the best. Plant the flower, water properly and leave it for few days. Now the flower pot is ready to be hung over the branch of the tree and attract the birds to feed on them. You can also paint with vibrant colors for a better look. Water it twice a day or as much as required to keep the plants grow properly.

Wall Hooks:
Look around in the kitchen drawer for any trash cutlery – knife, spoon, fork etc. Little strength is required for hammering. Drill the handle of the spoon or fork, now use your both hands and with full pressure try to bend and form a “U” shape. The hook is ready, using a nail fix the hook onto the wall.

Windchimes:
Wind chimes not only adds charm but relaxes mind with its sound. Search for all the un-used cutlery in the house, if required as from your neighbors and relatives. Knives, spoons and forks are ideal for making wind chime. Small silver or stainless steel serving dish is required with some S shape hooks and link chain. Drill uniformed holes around the dish, fix the S shape hook into the holes with the link chains. Now, tie the chimes made of spoons, forks or knives. Hang it into breezy area and see the effect.
